About Zoe

A Therapist Who Knows the Terrain

Warm, grounded, and genuinely curious about the people she works with.

Zoe Kilgore is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate based in Seattle, WA, specializing in therapy for teens, young adults, couples, and equine-assisted therapy. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep belief that healing happens when you feel truly seen — not managed, not analyzed, but genuinely met.

Zoe's path to therapy was shaped by her own experiences navigating life's harder seasons — and by a lifelong belief that people are more resilient than they know. She works with individuals and couples who are looking for a space to slow down, make sense of what they're carrying, and find a way forward.

Her approach is collaborative, evidence-informed, and deeply human. She draws from Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Strength-Based approaches, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — tailoring her work to each person and each relationship she works with.

She has worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and trauma, and is currently accepting new clients in-person in Seattle and virtually across Washington State.

Her Approach

Collaborative

Therapy isn't something done to you — it's something you do together. Zoe works alongside her clients, not above them.

Evidence-Informed

Zoe draws from Person-Centered Therapy, EFT, Strength-Based approaches, and DBT — adapting her methods to what actually works for each person.

Grounded in Connection

Whether working with individuals or couples, Zoe's focus is always on connection — to yourself, to others, and to what matters most.

Judgment-Free

There's no version of you that's too much or not enough here. Zoe's office is a place where you can be honest without fear.

Outside the Office

When Zoe isn't in session, you'll find her somewhere in nature. On a trail with her dogs, spending time with horses, snowboarding, or simply sitting with the kind of quiet that only the outdoors can offer.

She's also a music enthusiast, loves to cook, a devoted dog mom, and someone who believes that the best conversations happen when you're not trying too hard.
